Alena Dovzhenko: Art That Feels Alive For the Glory Artist Showcase Program, The Village Art Studio and La Gloria Mexican Coffee are pleased to present the work of Alena Dovzhenko, an artist whose practice celebrates colour, emotion, and the living energy of creation. Alena’s work carries a vivid sense of movement. Through expressive brushwork, sculptural texture, gold leaf, and mixed media, her pieces feel as though they are breathing — alive with memory, imagination, and affection. Her art moves between playfulness and power, softness and intensity, creating a visual world where emotion becomes colour and colour becomes connection. This showcase invites viewers to slow down and encounter art in a warm, everyday space: over coffee, through conversation, and within the rhythm of community. In Alena’s work, beauty is not distant or untouchable. It is present, generous, and full of life. From October to December 2026, Glory Artist Showcase Program welcomes Alena Dovzhenko as part of its mission to bring local artists closer to the community and create new spaces where art can be seen, felt, and shared.
